Founded in 2019 by pianists Pei-Chen Chen and Mengjie Xiong, Sirius Piano Duo bridges Canadian and Chinese cultures by presenting works from composers of both nations to showcase the duo’s shared and distinct musical traditions.

Their performances seamlessly blend classical music with genres like pop and traditional Chinese folk music, often featuring original, innovative arrangements for piano duo. By collaborating with established and emerging artists, they create performances that resonate with multicultural perspectives and inspire deeper understanding through music.

They actively perform locally and internationally, with recent highlights including APPC, UTNMF, MUSCAN, NCKP and CFMTA.
